This position is responsible for achieving maximum credit release while vetting orders to ensure they meet the standards set.

* Research and compile credit information on customers to facilitate order release
* Perform credit application and trade reference research to obtain credit evidence from financial institutions and customer vendors
* Carry out thorough credit checks to enable the initiation of sound credit decisions
* Inform internal business partners of progress of credit investigation
* Communicate with customers when other special credit requirements or advance deposits are deemed necessary
* Perform other duties as required

* Previous experience in customer interaction
* Alpha and numeric data entry experience
* Strong verbal and written communications skills
* Solid analytical proficiencies
* Ability to organize, prioritize, work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, handle multiple tasks and work under time constraints is required
* Must have previous A/R background
