The Sr. Project Manager Alcon Research Clinics, is primarily responsible to support the business goals and objectives of Alcon Clinical R&D through efficient, effective and comprehensive organizational processes, project management solutions, and/or process improvement initiatives. This particular Clinical Project Management position functions to standardize processes and balance the workload for Alcon research clinics. The Project Manager further facilitates the maintenance and support of a strategic Clinical R&D supplier plan.

This role is located on site in Fort Worth, Texas or Johns Creek, GA and a typical day would include:

• Research clinic scheduling and workload balancing/allocation
• Develop and implement standardized processes and/or documentation to
  facilitate agility with quality.
• Collaborate with Alcon Clinical stakeholders and contract staff to align
  goals and objectives.
• Develop KPIs and keep metrics for Alcon Research Clinic activities.
• Lead budget and resource coordination for Alcon Research Clinics.
• Manage relationships with sponsors, vendors, and other external partners.
• Facilitate new vendor qualifications and onboarding in conjunction with
  cross functional stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Comprehensive understanding of clinical research processes and regulatory
  requirements
• Ophthalmic/Optometric experience
• Excellent organizational, leadership, communication and negotiation skills
  Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools
• LSS Green Belt

What You'll Bring to Alcon:

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school+15 yrs; Assoc.+11 yrs; M.S.+4 yrs; PhD+3 yrs)
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
• 7 Years of Relevant Experience
