KPMG is currently seeking a Databricks Sales Engineer to join our Alliances organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Architect and deploy Databricks Data Intelligence Platform solutions, staying current on platform features, well-architected frameworks, and best practices
  • Support engagement teams in crafting proposals and solution designs; differentiate KPMG with persuasive RFP responses and technical storytelling that turn requirements into innovative, value-driven proposals
  • Lead outcome-focused demos and POVs that showcase how Databricks and AI drive innovation and measurable business value
  • Engage CDOs and IT leaders early; embed alliance technologies and integrate with multi-cloud enterprise data stacks
  • Partner with alliance and internal sales/delivery teams to accelerate pipeline and bookings, incorporating responsible AI and MLOps into solution architectures
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
Qualifications:
  • Minimum ten years of recent experience in professional services or consulting, including at least five years in technical sales/consulting focused on Databricks and modern cloud data platforms; hands-on exposure to AI products with strong data technology expertise
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college/university preferred; or minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required with twelve years of previous sales and/or solution architecting experience
  • Experience with a large GSI or Big Four advisory firm; industry exposure across multiple verticals is preferred
  • Client-facing position requires someone who is comfortable partnering with C-level executives and their teams who also has a strong executive presence and interpersonal communication skills; ability to build trusted relationships and translates complex needs into clear value propositions for clients, internal stakeholders, and alliance partners
  • Proven ability to rapidly design, build, and deliver high-quality demos and POVs independently and in cross-functional teams
  • Ability to travel as needed, up to 50%
