On the Job

• Set up and operate VMCs, HMCs, TMCs, CO2 lasers, fiber lasers, break presses, and/or roboticwelders
• Perform light program edits on mills, lathes, lasers, or robotic welders, including tool offsets, reference points, and conditionalswitches
• Maintain quality by observing drilling, cutting, turning, facing, knurling, and thread chasingoperations
• Troubleshoot processes, detect malfunctions, and replace or sharpen worntools
• Plan machining by interpreting work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, and GD&T specifications
• Verify machine settings and first-run parts using precision measuring tools like micrometers andcalipers
• Document production and quality activities to maintain continuity across shifts
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure safe and efficientoperation
• Follow safety procedures, maintain good housekeeping, and uphold 5Sstandards
• Participate in ongoing learning to stay updated on technical publications and new machiningtechniques

What Gets You in the Door

• Associate's Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or 6-12 months related experience
• Proficient in reading blueprints, engineering plans, and GD&T
• Ability to operate multiple types of CNC machines and equipment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Basic math, geometry, and simple trigonometry skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Commitment to safety and quality standards
