Responsibilities

Sierra Vista Hospital, a 171bed psychiatric care facility, is seeking a Temporary Human Resources Coordinator (40 hours a week) to support our HR team for a 6month contract.

Since 1986, Sierra Vista has provided compassionate, comprehensive mental health services to patients and their families. We are committed to delivering highquality care, and we are looking for a detailoriented, organized professional to join our team.

Job Duties:

Recruitment and Onboarding

  • Facilitate New Hire Orientation (NHO), including preparation, scheduling, and presentation.
  • Coordinate and track the full onboarding lifecycle, including offer letters, background checks, verifications, and all prehire requirements.
  • Assist with reviewing resumes and scheduling interviews for the nursing department.

Administrative

  • Process I9 forms and verify employment eligibility in compliance with federal regulations.
  • Prepare and submit electronic personnel action forms and biweekly payroll reports.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate personnel files for employees, interns, and contractors.
  • Organize and manage digital and physical HR records to ensure compliance and accessibility.
  • Collaborate closely with Payroll to support timely processing of final checks, adjustments, and employee payments.
  • Communicate employee status changes and payrollrelated updates to ensure accuracy.
  • Create employee ID badges and coordinate with the EOC for hospital key and access issuance.

HR Support

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all employee information and uphold hospital privacy standards.
  • Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of human resources experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Must be highly detailoriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fastpaced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
