Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Location: Scranton, PA 18503 Duration: Long Term Shift: 3rd Shift: 11pm to 7am Job Description: Provide general nursing care and clinical duties according to LPN licensing and training. Monitor inmates' health by checking vital signs, observing physical and emotional conditions, and reporting findings to the RN or physician. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and accurately document all care provided. Assist inmates with daily living activities, hygiene, and basic physical care needs. Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid or CPR when required. Maintain infection control standards and ensure proper sterilization of medical supplies and instruments. Support the movement and care of inmates, including transferring patients, assisting with wheelchairs, and navigating stairs in housing units. Maintain medical supplies and equipment, prepare incident reports, and attend required training and meetings. Requirement: LPN active license BLS/CPR
