Role Description & Responsibilities
The SIMULIA Validation Team is an integral part of the SIMULIA Fluids R&D organization, a world-class group of researchers in the fields of Lattice Boltzmann and Turbulence Modeling. SIMULIA software simulation products impact how Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is used in many industrial settings worldwide. We work on the verification and validation of CFD products for their accuracy, robustness, and performance for CFD applications in ground transportation, aerospace, oil-gas, etc. We are looking for a Software Validation Engineer PhD Student in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or related field to join us as we improve aerodynamic simulation efficiency and accuracy. This is a paid six-month internship/co-op, to begin in the summer of 2026. This position is based at the Dassault Systemes Office, Waltham, MA. As a Software Validation Engineer, you will be part of a critical team that is driving the development of new simulation capabilities. We'll provide you with the steps, tools, and leadership that will help advance your career at Dassault Systemes and help our customers reach their goals. In this role, you will:
