The Job at a Glance

Unlimited Service Group is seeking a strategic finance leader to serve as Director, Finance Shared Services, overseeing Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Credit, and Collections across a rapidly growing multi-brand service organization. This role leads the end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) functions, driving process standardization, automation, and operational excellence across more than 150 locations throughout North America. The Director will focus on improving working capital performance, cash flow, and credit risk management while partnering closely with Sales, Operations, Treasury, Legal, and IT to strengthen financial operations and support scalable growth. Please note, this is a full-time position working a hybrid work schedule

A Typical Day

The Director of Finance Shared Services balances strategic leadership with operational oversight across AR, AP, Credit, and Collections. The day often begins with reviewing key performance metrics such as DSO, aging trends, cash application, and invoice processing efficiency to ensure working capital and service goals are being met.

Throughout the day, the Director collaborates with leaders across Sales, Operations, Treasury, and Customer Service to resolve billing issues, manage credit exposure, and improve cash flow performance. The role also focuses on developing team leaders, driving automation and process improvements across O2C and P2P functions, and ensuring compliance with internal controls while providing leadership with insights into shared services performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Shared Services organization, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Credit, and Collections.
  • Oversee enterprise credit policies, customer credit evaluations, and credit exposure while managing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Direct end-to-end Order-to-Cash operations, including billing, collections, cash application, and dispute resolution, with a focus on improving DSO and collection effectiveness.
  • Oversee Procure-to-Pay operations, ensuring accurate invoice processing, timely payments, and strong vendor relationships.
  • Partner with Finance and Treasury leadership to improve cash flow, forecasting, and working capital performance.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing Shared Services team while collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Legal, IT, and Customer Service.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and financial reporting standards.

To Land This Opportunity

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting (MBA or CPA a plus)
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience
  • 3+ Years of experience managing and/or leading shared service, AR, AP, credit, and finance operations
  • Strong experience with Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, credit risk management, and working capital optimization
  • Experience driving process improvement, automation, and operational transformation
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to successfully complete background check and drug screening
