Job Summary
The Project Coordinator will support Product Development projects at the direction of the Sr. Manager, Project Management to provide consistency in process and reporting. This role will assist in system administration, training, documentation, and lifecycle code maintenance. Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Project Management -30%
- Identify, plan and coordinate cross functional team activities required to launch changing products.
- Coordinate project timeline status for cross-functional teams.
- Create, maintain, and distribute project tracking information.
- Act as liaison between Marketing, Graphics, R&D, Regulatory, Packaging, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sourcing, and Contract Manufacturing departments.
- Assist project team in determining solutions and track resource constraints for multiple, concurrent plans.
- Creation of project descriptors and milestones for SPX.
- Maintenance of Item/Material Specifications, Bill of Material detail and manufacturing SOP's as needed.
- Coordinate projects with International teams as needed.
Lifecycle Maintenance - 20%
- Create a process for facilitating and maintaining life cycle codes.
- Run/update Material Master File.
- Review file to provide recommendations to planning on what items might need a different lifecycle code.
- Prepare file with proposed recommended LCC changes and work with planning team for alignment.
- Update LCC's in SAP.
System Administration and Reporting - 50%
- SPX Database Administration- Spectrum Brand's Internal Product Development Database
- SPX access requests.
- SPX updates and changes.
- Create SPX standards and procedures.
- SPX data maintenance/cleansing.
- Workfront Database Administration: Spectrum's Project Management Software
- Workfront access requests.
- Workfront template/maintenance/standards.
- Create and maintain Workfront reports/dashboards.
- Maintain Workfront timeline templates.
- Create and communicate Launch Reports.
- Pulling and communicating Late Task Reports.
- Year-end reports.
- Stage Gate recaps.
- SAP augmented support
- Supporting entering SAP data for new projects.
Education and Experience Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Operations Management or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- 0-2 years of operations or business experience, preferably in project or database management.
- Consumer product goods experience preferred.
Required Skills
- Experience with Data Base type software.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Project management utilizing Microsoft Project or similar software preferred.
- Proactive problem-solving identification; solving problems with the ability to assess risk/benefit and to act decisively on findings.
- PC skills (spreadsheet and presentations).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
