Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Student Intern.

The Intern Business Development is responsible for supporting NYUs technology commercialization activities by assisting the TOV Business Development team with daily operations, marketing efforts, and event support. Key responsibilities include supporting the development of marketing campaigns for NYU technologies, researching and compiling information on potential commercial partners, organizing and tracking documentation and email communications related to marketing activities, assisting with the planning and execution of departmental events, and organizing and maintaining TOV databases. The ideal candidate has prior experience with data tracking and entry and demonstrates a strong interest in administrative, organizational, and marketing responsibilities in a university setting.

Job Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Support the development of marketing campaigns for NYU technologies, including the research
  and compilation of relevant commercial partners
• Streamline, track, and organize documentation efficiently, including appropriate email
  recordation for marketing campaigns
• Assist in planning, developing, and executing department events for internal and external
  constituencies, such as the IIRIS seminars
• Organize and maintain TOV databases, such as Salesforce and BD Rolodex
• Offer direct assistance to the Business Development team
• Assist with general administration and additional projects, as necessary

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a The student intern must be a full-time student, or if working in the summer months (Mid-May through Mid-Sept), must be planning to return to full-time status in the fall.

Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (email, phone, face-to-face). Positively represents the Institution when interacting with internal and external groups and clients.

Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $18.00 - $18.00 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
