Position Overview

This role manages top-tier accounts with significant strategic importance. This role influences client strategy, drives long-term value, and contributes to organizational growth through thought leadership and deep client engagement.

What You'll Do:

  • Own relationships with top-tier clients or partners.

  • Lead relationships with enterprise-level clients, ensuring alignment with long-term business goals.

  • Shape strategic direction for accounts, including multi-year planning and innovation initiatives.

  • Influence client decision-making through data-driven insights and industry expertise.

  • Partner with internal leadership to align product development and service delivery with client needs.

  • Lead contract negotiations and manage complex stakeholder dynamics.

  • Develop and implement account management best practices.

  • Oversee portfolio performance and ensure revenue targets are met.

  • Collaborate with sales leadership on strategic initiatives.

  • Handle escalated client issues and negotiate major contracts.

  • Mentor junior account managers and share best practices.

What You'll Bring to Zelis:

  • Typically has Bach. +8 yrs; Masters +6 yrs Attends company training and regional training in area of expertise. Presents own work to members of department and external consultants and external professional conferences, Collaborates externally

  • Requires proficiency using AI tools skillfully with an understanding of how to develop/create intelligent prompts and/or agents.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to navigate complex organizational structures.

  • Proven track record of managing high-impact accounts and influencing client strategy.

  • Deep understanding of industry trends, competitive landscape, and client business models.

  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills.

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive results in complex environments.

Location and Workplace Flexibility

We have offices in Atlanta GA, Boston MA, Morristown NJ, Plano TX, St. Louis MO, St. Petersburg FL, and Hyderabad, India. We foster a hybrid and remote friendly culture, and all our employee's work locations are based on the needs of the position and determined by the Leadership team. In-office work and activities, if applicable, vary based on the work and team objectives in accordance with Company policies.
