Vaco has a great opportunity for a Senior FP&A Analyst in Ponte Vedra, Florida. This position is direct hire and sits fully onsite.

We are seeking a highly analytical and business-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis team. This role plays a key part in driving financial visibility, improving forecast accuracy, and supporting executive decision-making across multiple business channels.

The ideal candidate brings advanced financial modeling skills, strong business acumen, and the ability to translate complex financial data into clear insights for senior leadership. This role partners closely with operations, sales, accounting, and executive leadership to deliver actionable analysis and scalable financial planning processes.

This position is well suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment, enjoys working with large datasets across multiple systems, and can translate operational drivers into financial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities Financial Planning & Forecasting
  • Develop and maintain monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range financial plans across multiple business units and revenue channels.

  • Translate operational drivers (customer activity, production metrics, sales performance, and contract activity) into driver-based financial forecasts.

  • Build and maintain dynamic financial models to support business performance analysis and strategic initiatives.

Financial Analysis & Business Partnership
  • Perform variance analysis (Actual vs Budget vs Forecast vs Prior Year) and clearly communicate key drivers of performance.

  • Partner with business leaders to deliver data-driven insights supporting operational and strategic decisions.

  • Prepare executive-level reporting and analysis for senior leadership and board presentations.

Reporting & Data Integration
  • Build and maintain financial reporting across multiple systems, including ERP platforms, planning tools, and operational databases.

  • Develop scalable reporting to improve visibility into revenue performance, cost drivers, and profitability by business channel.

  • Create dashboards and reporting tools that enhance management insight and decision-making.

Strategic Finance Support
  • Support evaluation of strategic initiatives, new products, channel expansion, and operational improvements.

  • Conduct scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis to evaluate business risks and opportunities.

  • Assist with financial due diligence, business case development, and executive decision support.

Process Improvement
  • Improve the scalability and efficiency of FP&A processes, including forecasting methodologies, reporting automation, and model standardization.

  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality, forecasting accuracy, and reporting timeliness.

Qualifications Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

  • MBA, CFA, or CPA is a plus

Experience
  • 5-8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analysis

  • Experience supporting senior leadership or executive teams

  • Background in complex, multi-channel, or high-growth organizations preferred

Technical Skills
  • Advanced Excel financial modeling

  • Experience with financial planning systems such as:

    • Planful

    • Adaptive

    • Anaplan

    • Hyperion

  • Familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite, Dynamics, SAP, etc.)

  • Experience with BI / data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau

  • Ability to work with large datasets and financial reporting systems
