As a Security Officer - Armed Driver Field Patrol in Greensboro, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with professional customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license, and you will respond to calls for assistance, document activity, and communicate clearly while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and guided by integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including dispatching assistance, coordinating with hospital personnel, and contacting local authorities when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Control access at designated entrances and restricted areas, verify identification and/or authorization, and maintain visitor management processes in accordance with site requirements.
• Complete detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation, and communicate notable observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be a graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police training program or equivalent.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Have 2+ years law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience.
• Hold a Law Enforcement Officer License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
