Security Officer - Site Patrol

As a Security Officer - Site Patrol in Millington, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support shipping and receiving activity, document observations, and communicate clearly with onsite teams and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking lots, and perimeter routes to help to identify unusual activity and/or hazards.
• Control access at gates and entry points by verifying identification, processing visitor and driver check-ins, and/or directing traffic flow as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services when appropriate.
• Complete routine documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports, and communicate key observations to the Allied Universal supervision team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 6+ months of security experience.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
