Position Summary The Visiting Associate Director of International Recruitment and Compliance serves as a key leader within the unit, responsible for the tactical implementation of UIC's international enrollment strategy. Reporting to the Director of International Recruitment and Compliance, this position will co-develop the annual international recruitment plan, manage the technical day-to-day administration of recruitment operations, and provide direct supervision, training, and development to recruitment staff. Duties & Responsibilities Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. A minimum of 5 years of experience in higher education recruitment, admissions, enrollment management, or international education. Demonstrated experience supervising staff or leading functional work within a recruitment or admissions context. Knowledge of international student recruitment practices and student advising. Experience working with CRM systems (Slate preferred) and recruitment data. Strong communication, presentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree preferred. Direct experience with international recruitment markets or international student services. Familiarity with compliance considerations related to international recruitment and third-party partnerships. Experience analyzing recruitment data and translating insights into operational action. Engagement with professional organizations such as NAFSA, AIRC, TAICEP, or ICEF. Commitment to diversity, equity, and access in higher education.
