*Overview* A global food and beverage equipment manufacturer is seeking an *International Customer Service Representative* to support its international clients, distributors, and sales team. This role handles international orders, export documentation, shipment coordination, and global customer inquiries. The ideal candidate is detailoriented, customerfocused, and comfortable navigating the complexities of international business.
This position plays a key role in ensuring seamless international operations while providing exceptional service to global accounts. *Key Responsibilities* * Receive, process, and manage *international customer orders*. * Coordinate global shipments and work closely with logistics and distribution teams. * Prepare all required *export documentation* to ensure accurate and timely delivery. * Respond to customer inquiries via email and phone, providing product, shipping, and general information. * Prepare customer quotes and pricing requests. * Maintain accurate customer records and databases. * Interpret customer contracts, terms and conditions, and special pricing agreements. * Recommend alternative products or shipping solutions when needed. * Ensure overall customer satisfaction through professional, timely communication. * Support the international department with: * Marketing analysis * Report writing * Travel coordination * Assist in planning and coordinating *international trade shows*. * Help develop international marketing materials (brochures, flyers, newsletters, POP). * Collaborate crossfunctionally with teams across the organization. * Occasional international travel. * Additional duties as assigned. *Required Qualifications* * *1+ year of international customer service experience*, including: * Crosscultural communication * Support of global customers or distributors * Phone + email customer support * Experience entering and managing international orders. * Experience working in *ERP systems*. * Associate's or Bachelor's degree (highly preferred). * Strong professional email communication skills. *Preferred Qualifications* * Proficiency with *Microsoft Excel* for tracking data and order activities. * Bachelor's degree. * Strong experience communicating with distributors and customers across multiple time zones. *Soft Skills* * Positive, solutionoriented mindset * Strong problemsolving skills * Ability to work independently * Customerfocused and relationshipdriven * Enjoys complex, multistep processes * Excellent phone and email communication * Highly detailoriented * Selfmotivated and professional *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake Zurich, IL. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
