Job Summary

Support the unit in achieving the set production targets by adhering to the systems and processes. Correctly use machinery and equipment on the shop floor. Read and interpret the technical diagrams/instructions for assembly of products/systems/panels.

Your Responsibilities

• Conducts all types of assembly work to produce a semi-finished or final products/systems/panels, including the packing where integrated with production lines.
• Work is typically done manually or by using light hand tools.
• The job may include regular quality testing as part of a defined production process.
• Skill set required depends on type of products and level of complexity
• Confirm product is assembled and packaged to the required specifications.
• Conducts shop floor operation in compliance with health & safety guidelines and reports any non-compliance.
• Operates within standard operating procedures and maintains a clean work area
• Maintain professional work behaviour including approachability, patience, and mutual respect.
• All other duties, as assigned.

Your Background

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 40 pounds
• Ability to perform push and pull functions
• At least 1- 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

While hourly pay rate is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay starting at $18,25. Shift hours are 6:30 am - 3:00pm Monday - Friday
