Key Responsibilities

*Demand Planning: Coordinate the collection and analysis of sales data, market trends, new product launches, and events to develop a consensus demand forecast. The goal is to predict demand as accurately as possible to inform the supply planning process.
*Supply and Operations Planning: Evaluate and align purchasing, and location capacity planning with the demand forecast along with any supply chain constraints to develop a supply plan.
*Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, implement inventory strategies, and manage safety stock to ensure product availability while minimizing costs
*Cross-Functional Collaboration and Meetings: Facilitate monthly cross-functional SIOP meetings to review the demand and supply plans to achieve consensus and resolve any issues or discrepancies. Facilitate quarterly Executive SIOP meetings to present the plans and recommendations from monthly SIOP, make final decisions and ensure alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
*Process Improvements: Continuously analyze and mature the SIOP process by tracking key metrics, implementing new technology, and data-driven decision-making approach using data and analysis.

Competencies and skills
  • Education:A bachelor's degree, ideally in supply chain management or a related field.
  • Experience:Proven experience in supply chain management, inventory management,andS&OP/SIOP processes
  • Analytical Skills:Strong ability to analyze large datasets,identifytrends, and interpret data to make informed decisions
  • Technical Skills:Proficiencywith ERP systems,Supply Chain (forecasting)tools, data visualization tools, and having strong computer literacy andproficiencyin MS Office isrequired
  • Soft Skills:Excellentverbal and writtencommunication, leadership, negotiation, problem-solving skills, follow-up, and facilitation skillsrequired
  • Certifications:Certifications such as APICS can beanadvantage
