Security Officer - Unarmed Driving Role

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Driving Role in FORT WORTH, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol sales floors, entrances, parking areas, and back-of-house spaces to help spot and report security-related concerns. You will stay highly visible, assist customers and associates with clear communication, and support loss prevention efforts. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license under AU Driver Policy Requirements, backed by Allied Universal's agile, reliable, and integrity-driven teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail sales floors, entrances, parking areas and perimeter to help to deter theft, vandalism and other unwanted activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with disturbances, medical situations and/or fire-related alarms per site procedures.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior and policy violations, communicate observations to store management and/or law enforcement as directed, and assist with loss prevention efforts within post orders.
• Complete reports and logs accurately, including incident reports and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and on-site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Loss prevention is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
