You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and/or access concerns. With a customer-service mindset, you will communicate clearly, document activity using a computer or tablet, and support a caring, people-first team that acts with integrity while staying agile, reliable, and innovative.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies, and/or assisting with emergency response activities as directed.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and communicating updates to site contacts.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of office, campus, and/or facility areas including lobbies, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter routes, noting and reporting unusual activity or conditions.
  • Control access to designated areas by monitoring entry points, verifying identification and/or access credentials, and directing visitors and deliveries according to site procedures.
  • Complete detailed reports for daily activity, incidents, and patrol observations using required systems and/or written logs, and assist with coordination with local responders when requested.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
