Security CxE Care has an exciting opportunity for aProduct Manager (PM) to help shape product strategy and drive execution across key features and initiatives by collaborating with engineering, support, and other cross-functional teams to translate customer needs and business challenges into clear product plans and measurable outcomes. You willoperatewith curiosity and customer empathy, leverage data to create clarity in decision-making, and partner across teams to deliver customer and business impact.

Responsibilities
  • Drive Program Goals:Define and drive program strategy andobjectivesfor one or more areas or workstreams. Establish clear success metrics and ensure delivery aligns with agreed-upon outcomes.

  • Customer & Business Insight: Leverage AI to understand customer needs, pain points, and business challenges. Demonstrate customer empathy and curiosity. Translate these insights into well-defined product requirements, feature priorities, and impactful product decisions to deliver customer value and business impact

  • Leverage AI Tools:Utilizecutting-edgeAI tools and assistants to accelerate research, development, and analysis. For example, use internal AI copilotsforquicklygatheringinsights (competitive analyses, user feedback synthesis, etc.) and automate parts of the workflow, increasingpersonal and team efficiency.

  • Analytical Problem-Solving: Apply structured problem-solving techniques to navigate ambiguity. Demonstrate curiosity by asking the right questions, synthesizing information from diverse sources (including customer feedback and market research), andmakedata-informed recommendations that provide clarity to complex problems.

  • Data-Driven Clarity:Examine product usage data and telemetry to test hypotheses, identify trends, measure product health, and clarify areas of opportunity or concern.Apply data-driven insights to inform prioritization and provide clear recommendations for product improvements.

  • Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management and Influence: Navigate and partner closely with engineering, support, finance, and other stakeholders to plan and deliver end-to-end solutions. Act as a connector to share information and coordinate across teams to clarify ownership,align ondependencies, and proactively remove blockers to ensure smooth execution of product plans.Experience influencing stakeholders and driving initiatives in environments where you may not have direct authority.

  • Effective Communication: Document (requirements, strategy papers, status updates) and effectively communicate plans, progress, and learnings through clear written narratives and concise verbal updates. Influence peers, leadership, and stakeholders (even without direct authority) by sharing insights and fostering alignment on product direction.



Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.

Other Qualifications:

Abilityto meet Microsoft,customerand/or government security screening requirementsarerequiredfor this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check:This position will berequiredto pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Additional or preferred qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
  • 2+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).
  • Data Analysis & Tools: Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Azure Data Explorer/Kusto, Power BI) and ability to use data to generate insights and drive clarity in decision-making. Skilled in defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and using metrics to guide product decisions.
  • Security Domain Experience: Experience contributing to or managing security or enterprise software products, with an understanding of security industry challenges and customer needs in cybersecurity or IT environments.
  • Advanced Data Insights: Exposure to machine learning or advanced analytics techniques to uncover patterns in product usage or customer data. Ability to work with data scientists or use ML-driven tools to derive deeper product insights and optimizations.
  • Metrics & Telemetry: Experience building or utilizing dashboards and telemetry (e.g., using Power BI or Azure dashboards) to measure product health, feature adoption, and customer outcomes, and to inform continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of product/software support with an understanding of common qualitative and quantitative measure.

Product Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.
