Full-Time/Regular The New England Journal of Medicine invites applications from physicians at any career stage for a one-year, full-time, paid editorial fellowship beginning in July 2027. Several fellows will be selected for the 2027-28 year; applications are due by August 15, 2026. The editorial fellows review and edit Images in Clinical Medicine submissions and write Clinical Decisions columns under the supervision of senior editors. The fellows also suggest topics for the Review Article series and contribute to the work of the Journal - including the production of videos and podcasts (such as NEJM Double Take videos and Beyond Journal Club podcasts with Core IM) - according to their skills and inclination. One fellow will be selected to spend a portion of the year working with the NEJM Evidence team. The fellows participate in the day-to-day editorial activities of the Journal and attend the weekly editorial meetings, where they have the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the analyses and considerations that guide decisions about which articles to publish.
