Job Description: Analytical Mechanics Associates, Inc. (AMA) of Hampton, VA is actively seeking a career level Mechanisms Engineer with a complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts. Provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems surrounding the modeling, analysis, manufacture, and testing of mechanisms to be utilized for both research and spaceflight. This position will support the Research, Science and Engineering Services (RSES) contract onsite at NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, VA. The qualified candidate will be responsible for the development and review of mechanism design, qualification and acceptance test plans and reports. The candidate will also support aerospace flight vehicle mechanism systems, and the test articles used to evaluate and qualify an aerospace vehicle. The hardware ranges from manned and unmanned aircraft and space vehicles to individual system components, to test articles, facilities, and testing arrangements supporting these vehicles and their subsystems. The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $124,000 commensurate with education and experience. Responsibilities:
