As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Building Access Control in Fountain Valley, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic automotive location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine driving patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access awareness, respond to site needs, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related screening, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related events according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and report concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and support traffic flow and access control procedures for staff, guests, and deliveries.
• Communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or local responders as needed regarding incidents, policy violations, hazardous conditions, and other security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
