A Brief Overview

Hunt Capital Partners is seeking a highly analytical and motivated graduate or upperdivision undergraduate student to join the Portfolio Analysis and Asset Management team as an intern. Reporting directly to the Director of Portfolio Analysis and Asset Management, this role supports the analysis and oversight of a national real estate investment portfolio with a focus on affordable housing and tax credit investments. The internship offers handson exposure to portfolio analytics, financial analysis, and investor reporting within a private equity real estate platform.

What you will do



  • Perform portfoliolevel and assetlevel financial analysis across multifamily real estate investments.
  • Analyze operating statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance reports to support asset performance reviews.
  • Assist with data manipulation, validation, and maintenance of internal portfolio tracking tools and dashboards.
  • Support abstraction and review of partnership agreements, loan documents, and other investmentrelated materials.
  • Prepare analytical exhibits, presentation materials, and written summaries for internal reviews and investor reporting.
  • Collaborate directly with senior leadership on ad-hoc analytical projects and strategic initiatives.


Qualifications



  • Enrollment in a quantitative or analytical academic program such as Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel; experience with data analysis, financial modeling, or visualization tools is a plus.
  • Familiarity with applied analytics, statistics, or econometric concepts preferred.
  • Ability to synthesize complex financial data into clear, concise insights.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and financial information.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Selfdirected, professional, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
  • Interest in real estate, investments, or affordable housing finance.


Compensation

We are committed to offering competitive and equitable compensation. The hiring range for this position is generally $21.00.

You must be able to pass a drug, background screen and physical abilities test/motor vehicle record check (if one is required per the position).
