Description FX Business Analyst - London Stock Exchange Group Contract-to-hire: 1 year contract, to be converted March 2027 Location: New York, NY (hybrid, 3 days onsite) About: We are looking to hire a highly skilled Sr FX Business Analyst. The group is responsible for FX trading and related services! You will be the Business Analyst for our Foreign Exchange Engineering Team, involved in the front to back and all aspects of the business and product. We value innovative thinking, great learning and teamwork ability. Responsibilities: Closely working with product and developers and other teams/groups to help document requirements and create stories to help develop applications that meet the needs of FX engineering. Create and maintain comprehensive business requirements (both functional and technical) in collaboration with business stakeholders, ensuring timely sign-off. Act as a self-starter and lead various development initiatives and projects across the FX domain. Required Skills: 5+ years of experience as an FX Business Analyst Strong FX product knowledge with RFQ and other strategies Deep understanding of FX markets oSpots, Forwards, Swaps, Algos, Options Experience working with product managers and engineers gathering, refining, documenting requirements Expertise in breaking down requirements into Jira stories Proven track record of delivering goals Knowledge & Experience of modern agile development methodologies Self-motivated and self-directed, able to work effectively in a globally distributed team, managing multiple priorities while collaborating with cross-functional teams Nice to have Skills: Experience with SQL and NoSQL Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills Specific knowledge and prior working experience with FIX protocol Interview Process: 3 steps: 1st round: 1 hour Behavioral / background conversation 2nd round: Conversational / technical round (With team lead) 3rd round: Formal 'handshake round' (With area Director) Additional Information (Internal): 2 total resources o1 Senior & 1 Junior oBoth must have knowledge across foreign exchange o1 must have specific knowledge into FIX protocol Offer must be extended by March 31st latest, ideally have this resource started by then Sell pack information oCandidate's resume oIKM test results IKM o3 bullets points on why they're a good fit Skills* Business analysis, Foreign Exchange Top Skills Details Business analysis,Foreign Exchange Additional Skills & Qualifications Must have specific knowledge into FIX protocol Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of New York, NY.
