District Manager

Longtown Rural Water District #1, Eufaula, OK is seeking a dedicated and experienced leader to serve as District Manager.
Key Responsibilities:  

Operational oversight: Manage water production, distribution systems, infrastructure maintenance, and repairs to ensure reliable service. 
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all water treatment and distribution activities comply with all local, state and federal laws and reporting requirements, Administrative and Financial Management: Prepare and implement annual budgets, inventory management and manage all capital improvement projects, oversee office operations. 
Personnel Leadership: Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff performance. Assign weekly duties and manage field crews. 
Public Relations: Manage public communication regarding water quality, usage and service interruptions. Develop and maintain strong relationships with major suppliers and contractors. 
Board Relations: Implement policies set by the Board of Directors. Develop, prepare and present monthly report information as required by the Board.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Experience: Proven experience in water system operations, utility management, and staff supervision. 
Education: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent work experience. 
Certifications: Water operator certifications(s). 
Preferred: At least three years' experience in water resource management. Strong financial and budgetary acumen. 
Proven leadership and management skills. 
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
Ability to build trust and relationships with diverse members and stakeholders.

Competitive salary commensurate with experience. Benefit package includes healthcare, retirement and paid time off.

Salary/Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 per year
