Manager, Product Management

ABB in New Berlin, WI is hiring a Manager of Product Management. In this role you will be responsible for managing, directing, planning and coordinating the product management activities for machinery and industrial drives portfolio, in Motion Drive Products division in the United States, ensuring product objectives of the portfolio offering are aligned with business strategies, and the offering strategy is implemented within prescribed time frames.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid supporting the Motion Drive Products Division in New Berlin, WI.

Your role and responsibilities:

• Hire, recruit, and retain key talent to help achieve leadership objectives.
• Evaluate employee performance, determine workforce requirements, drive continuous development of people and processes to meet the product management functional KPI targets.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.
• Create and drive implementation of the offering strategy to support the business strategy based on the respective strategic objective. Contributes to business strategy definition.
• Own the local go-to-market product marketing strategy for assigned products including value propositions and product positioning.
• Analyses and track trends in local market, technology, competitor and customer requirements to determine competitive attributes and value propositions.

Qualifications for the role:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 10+ years of experience in product management, portfolio management, product life-cycle management and customer relationship management.
• Proficiency in machine automation including Variable Frequency Drives, PLCs, HMIs, their various applications and customer profiles.
• Proven experience in a leadership role, demonstrating the ability to lead and motivate teams effectively.
• Proven track record of cross functional collaboration, excellent stakeholder engagement and strategic mindset and passion to drive business results required.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English required.
• Travel up to 30% including international required. This requires a valid US Passport and Driver's License.
• Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
