As a Security Officer Campus Rover in Salt Lake City, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a dynamic retail mall location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, assisting with directions and general questions, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help observe visitor activity, support access control practices, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations.
• Assist with crowd management during busy shopping periods, special events, and/or store openings and closings, helping to maintain orderly movement throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
