Summary

We are looking for a Service Contracts Manager to help us capture the full value of our customer relationships. This is a newly created role designed to build structure around a high-margin revenue line with significant room for growth.

This role owns the service contract offering end-to-end - including tier design, pricing strategy, sales enablement, and renewal execution. You will partner closely with sales, service, and operations while reporting to the Director of Continuous Improvement.

This is an ideal role for someone who has experience selling or structuring service agreements, enjoys building process as much as working deals, and wants a role where their impact is visible from day one.

Typical work hours are standard business hours, with occasional travel or time in the field to support sales calls and customer interactions.

We offer a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement savings, and paid time off.

Essential Functions

  • Evaluate and redesign service contract offerings, including tier structure, coverage, and pricing models
  • Develop scalable pricing tools based on equipment profile, usage, and customer risk to enable efficient quoting
  • Create standardized proposal templates and objection-handling frameworks to improve sales effectiveness
  • Train and equip sales representatives to consistently position and attach service contracts in equipment sales
  • Provide direct sales support on complex opportunities, including large fleets and strategic accounts
  • Build and manage a prioritized pipeline of contract opportunities across uncontracted and existing accounts
  • Own and execute the contract renewal process, ensuring proactive engagement and high retention rates
  • Establish and maintain systems for contract tracking, fleet coverage visibility, and renewal workflows
  • Monitor performance metrics (pipeline, attach rate, renewals, revenue) and identify process improvements to drive growth
  • Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Comfortable working as an individual contributor; there is no team to delegate to
  • Forklift or material handling industry familiarity is a plus, not a requirement
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred - or equivalent work experience
  • Experience working within or alongside a continuous improvement or operations function is a plus

Computer Skills

  • Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce or equivalent) for pipeline management, opportunity tracking, and customer insights
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, modeling, and pricing tools (e.g., pivot tables, formulas)

  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word for development of sales materials, proposals, and training content
  • Experience using data visualization or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI or similar) preferred
  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate internal systems to build contract tracking, reporting, and workflow processes
