| Essential Job Duties |
The purpose is to compile and develop coastal science and educational resources for visitors to North Carolina's coast. The intern will support efforts to help visitors contribute to healthy coastal ecosystems; resilient communities and economies; sustainable seafood and aquaculture; and environmental literacy and workforce development.
The primary job duties are the following:
* Compile coastal science and education content for a new NC Sea Grant webpage that focuses on coastal visitors
* Develop new communication products (e.g. social media content, magnets, posters) targeted for coastal visitors
* Conduct outreach with partners who can help distribute NC Sea Grant resources to coastal visitors
