About this opportunity:

The Department of Management in the Miller College of Business welcomes applications for a full-time, 10-month (academic year) contract position.

Renewal of the position after the 10-month contract is possible, but not anticipated.

Candidates must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

What you'll do and what you will bring:

Position Function:

Anticipated assignments include teaching three classes per semester in the field of entrepreneurship and/or other areas of management (e.g., leadership, human resource management, international business, organizational behavior) as well as performing service and outreach activities for the Entrepreneurship Center and the Department of Management.

Candidates should have the ability to be physically present on Ball State campus multiple days per week and should be prepared to teach both face-to-face and online courses. Student needs will determine the final count of in-person vs online courses.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Master's degree from an accredited institution

  • Previous teaching experience at the secondary or undergraduate collegiate level

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's or doctoral degree in a business-related field from an accredited institution

  • Significant teaching experience at the secondary or undergraduate collegiate level

  • Experience with business outreach efforts
