Department OverviewThe position is part of our Core Platforms & Services (CPS) organization which operates and manages MSI's Cloud Public Safety Application SaaS platform. You will be part of a team that is responsible for the security of these mission critical systems that are used everyday by public safety and government agencies across multiple countries. In this role, you will also be working in a world-class team that uses state of the art technologies and techniques. This team is part of Motorola Solutions' Software Enterprise division, which offers secure, reliable and efficient team communications, workflow and operational intelligence solutions for mission critical public safety and enterprise markets throughout the world. Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Cloud Security Engineer / DevSecOps to join our team in protecting organizational cloud assets through robust automated security services. This role focuses on managing cloud security across commercial, government (CJIS, CCCS), and Federal (FedRAMP) environments. You will implement proactive vulnerability and threat detection systems while ensuring seamless regulatory compliance across our cloud ecosystem. In this role, you will also be working in a world-class team that uses state of the art technologies and techniques. Key Responsibilities

Our customers also require US citizenship and residency for this role. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position. The candidate must be in the office once a week at one of the following locations: Chicago, IL , Schaumburg, IL or Allen, TX. This position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice's "Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy" and therefore requires successfully passing a more stringent fingerprint background check administered by Motorola Solutions Inc. customers. Target Base Salary Range: $95,000 - $120,000 USD. Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
