What You'll Do:

  • Maintain a clear and organized view of regulatory changes, including status tracking and reporting.

Impact Assessment & Business Partnership

  • Partner with business areas (e.g., Operations, Product, Legal, Risk Management) to evaluate applicability and operational impact of regulatory changes.
  • Translate regulatory requirements into actionable business impacts, requirements, and next steps.
  • Document outcomes, decisions, and supporting rationale in a clear and auditable manner.

Implementation Support & Coordination

  • Work with stakeholders to ensure changes are implemented effectively and aligned with regulatory expectations.
  • Help track progress, risks, and dependencies across implementation efforts.

  • Ensure documentation is clear, consistent, and aligned with compliance program expectations.

Monitoring & Controls

  • Partner with business and compliance teams to define evidence, testing considerations, and ongoing oversight practices.

Issue Identification & Resolution

  • Research and investigate potential compliance issues or gaps.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support remediation efforts, document corrective actions, and strengthen controls to prevent recurrence.

Project & Workstream Support

  • Manage or support project workstreams, including tracking timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
  • Contribute to status updates and materials for leadership and governance forums.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in regulatory compliance within a life insurance, annuity, or related financial services environment.
  • Experience supporting regulatory change management activities, including tracking changes, assessing impact, and working with business partners on implementation.
  • Understanding of insurance regulatory frameworks and how they impact operations, products, or distribution.
  • Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into clear, actionable business guidance.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience drafting policies, procedures, or formal documentation.
  • Ability to build relationships and work effectively across teams in a collaborative environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting regulatory exams, data calls, or market conduct activities.
  • Familiarity with compliance monitoring, testing, or control frameworks.
