Turn 10 Studios is seeking an experienced SeniorProducer to join our production team supporting the Forza Franchise.

This Senior Producer role will lead and grow external development engagements, working across internal multi-disciplinary teams and co-development studios to deliver high-quality gameplay experiences aligned with franchise standards. The Senior Producer serves as a key connector between internal franchise leadership and external partners, building durable, trust-based relationships grounded in clarity, accountability, and long-term collaboration.

We are looking for a versatile production leader who can adapt as franchise priorities evolve. This individual is expected to be comfortable navigating ambiguity while building structure, leading clearly defined milestone and phase gate deliveries, and influencing across disciplines and studios without direct authority.

Success in this role requires leading with clarity and resolve while enforcing firm execution standards and predictable delivery without compromising quality.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Partner & External Development Leadership

  • Serve as the primary production owner for external co-development partners contributing to Forza Franchise initiatives.
  • Work with Business Development and internal leadership to support partner evaluation, onboarding, and long-term engagement strategy.
  • Contribute to request-for-proposal processes as needed to ensure scope clarity, production expectations, and engagement models are well defined.
  • Assess external studio capabilities in collaboration with publishing, engineering, art, design, and quality leaders.
  • Establish and maintain production processes and guidelines for effective internal and external collaboration.
  • Foster trust-based relationships with partners and vendors to enable long-term success.
  • Maintain appropriate engagement style, information compartmentalization, and communication discipline when representing Microsoft with external teams.
  • Evaluate partner milestone deliverables against quality, schedule, and scope expectations.
  • Act as liaison between internal and external teams to ensure alignment and uphold franchise standards.

Production Leadership & Milestone Governance

  • Lead clearly defined milestone and phase gate deliveries across partnered initiatives.
  • Build structured production plans, risk management frameworks, and quality checkpoints.
  • Maintain transparent health reporting and executive-ready communication.
  • Drive predictable execution through disciplined scope management and clear accountability.
  • Identify risks early and escalate appropriately to protect schedule integrity and player experience.

Cross-Functional Franchise Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal engineering, design, art, QA, publishing, community, and operations teams to align external partner efforts with franchise objectives.
  • Support initiatives that may include expansion-scale content, feature development, or other franchise priorities.
  • Engage with Community and Partnership teams to ensure coordinated messaging, feedback incorporation, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Navigate external IP considerations, approvals, and feedback loops where applicable.
  • Operate effectively across global time zones and diverse development cultures.

Quality & Player Experience Stewardship

  • Uphold the quality bar expected of the Forza Franchise across all partnered deliverables.
  • Ensure gameplay experiences are intentional, polished, and aligned with player expectations.
  • Balance creative ambition with execution realities, making thoughtful trade-offs when necessary.
  • Champion execution excellence - from milestone readiness to final integration.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in production roles in gaming or entertainment industry, or other multi-disciplinary leadership OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience in development and shipping of at least one product release.
  • 2+ years experience managing relationships with stakeholders, clients, and/or customers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years of experience in game production, publishing, live service, or multi-disciplinary product leadership (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrated experience leading milestone-based delivery with high accountability to fixed ship dates.
    • Proven experience managing external development partners, including:
    • Production planning and delivery oversight
    • Quality, schedule, and dependency management
  • Clear communication and expectation setting
  • Experience contributing to partner onboarding, evaluation, or long-term relationship management.
  • Experience leading production on at least one major shipped product or large-scale content initiative.
  • Dependable stakeholder management skills, including executive-level communication and decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence across teams and studios without direct authority.
  • Direct experience partnering with Europe-based game development studios.
  • Experience operating across time zones with early morning U.S. collaboration hours.
  • Experience scaling partner contributions from support execution into larger scope over time.
  • Background in AAA live service, expansion-scale, or post-launch content development environments.
  • Experience collaborating with publishing, community, and external IP stakeholders.


Game Producers IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
