Office Manager
Duration: 3 months + extension
Shift: Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (1-hour for lunch)
Pay rate range: $24.18/hr. on w2
Location: 330 W. Church St., Bartow FL 33830

Role & Responsibilities:
- Manage hiring, training, evaluation, and performance of assigned staff.
- Assign duties, delegate tasks, and monitor progress to ensure workflow efficiency.
- Develop and maintain customer service standards, office policies, procedures, and manuals.
- Prepare payment authorizations, forms, and fiscal documentation; support budgeting, payroll, and personnel processes.
- Assist Division Director with data collection, special projects, and meetings; prepare agenda items as needed.
- Receive and interact with citizens to assess and resolve service needs or complaints.
- Collect, compile, and analyze statistical, fiscal, and service-related data; prepare reports and operational documents.
- Oversee records maintenance, reporting, and documentation using relevant software.
Specific certification/skill required:
- High school diploma or equivalent; minimum 6 years office management experience, including 3 years supervisory experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, word processing, spreadsheets, and online systems.
- Strong supervisory, decision-making, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage invoicing, purchase orders, procurement, and fiscal operations.
- Accurate data entry, mathematical computations, and recordkeeping skills.
- Valid Florida driver's license or ability to obtain one.
- Typing speed: 40 CWPM with no more than 10 errors.

- Provides leadership and oversight for daily operations of a division office, ensuring high-quality customer service, staff coordination, and adherence to operational policies and fiscal standards. Supports the Division Director in strategic and administrative functions to maintain efficient and accountable office performance.
