This position oversees the administration of the Federal Work-Study program from a student employment perspective, partnering with Student Financial Aid and Human Resources to ensure compliance, efficient processes, and strong support for students, families, supervisors, and campus partners.

The Coordinator also supports two Federal Work-Study funded programs. First, Mizzou PALS (Preschool Active Learning Service), is a career readiness program matching trained college students with children enrolled in Columbia Public Schools to enhance their language, literacy, and social-emotional skills. Second, the Community Service Work-Study program is a collaboration with the Office of Community Engaged Learning to connect eligible students with employment in local community agencies.

Through employer engagement, training, program evaluation, and collaborative partnerships, the Coordinator enhances meaningful employment experiences that promote student success and community impact.
