Marketing Coordinator (Music Industry) This is a 3-month, full-time (40 hours/week), on-site contract role located in Santa Monica, CA. Summary This role supports a dynamic music marketing team responsible for executing campaigns around major artist releases. The Marketing Coordinator will assist with day-to-day operations, marketing campaign coordination, and administrative support while helping ensure marketing assets, budgets, and communications are managed efficiently across the team. Job Description In this role, you will support product managers and marketing leads in executing marketing plans and promotional strategies for artist releases. You'll partner with internal marketing teams and cross-functional stakeholders to coordinate marketing materials, manage project documentation, and support campaign execution. This includes submitting and tracking creative requests for marketing assets such as invites, posters, and video content, as well as creating and maintaining project documents including one-sheets, timelines, and quote sheets. You will also organize artist assets such as photos, artwork, logos, music files, and biographies, coordinate shipping and distribution of marketing materials, and help ensure marketing tools and campaign resources are delivered on time. Additional responsibilities include assisting with scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, supporting travel arrangements, routing vendor contracts, and assisting with calendars and expense tracking to support the team's overall success. The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $31.00 per hour. This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
