Overview

QuarterLine (QL), a Planned Systems International (PSI) company, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join the healthcare team at William Beaumont Army Medical Center, Fort Bliss, TX. This position plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population within a dynamic clinical environment.


The LPN/LVN will provide direct patient care based on individualized treatment plans, using clinical judgment to prioritize care and ensure safe, effective outcomes. Key responsibilities include administering medications and treatments, monitoring and documenting patient conditions, responding to urgent or emergent situations, and assisting with complex diagnostic procedures.


The role also involves educating patients and families, collaborating closely with Registered Nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals, and supporting unit standards and practices.     Duty Location: William Beaumont Army Medical Center, Ft. Bliss, TX (Interdisciplinary Pain Management Clinic). No Telework allowed.
  • Duty Hours: Monday - Friday, 0730 - 1630.


Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities

Core Duties: A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) is responsible for delivering safe, effective patient care across a range of needs and conditions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide direct patient care to diverse populations based on assigned duties and care plans.
  • Assess patient conditions and use clinical judgment to prioritize treatments and procedures.
  • Monitor, document, and report patient status and changes accurately.
  • Administer medications and treatments following established policies and procedures.
  • Identify and respond to patient needs, including education for patients and families.
  • Recognize and respond to emergency situations, initiating appropriate interventions with supervision.
  • Assist with complex diagnostic tests and specialized procedures, including patient preparation and monitoring.
  • Support and guide peers and staff on unit procedures and standards of practice.
  • Promote a positive work environment that enhances patient care, education, and staff satisfaction.


Minimum Requirements

  • Degree/Education: Graduation from State Board of Nursing approved LPN/LVN training program or completion of equivalent military training that permits sitting for the State licensure examination.
  • Experience: One year of experience within the last two years as a LPN/LVN.
  • Legal Authorization to Work in the United States: The contract worker performing under this contract must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Licensure: Contract workers requiring LPN/LVN licensure shall have and maintain a current, valid, unrestricted license specific to the position (with no limitations, stipulations or pending adverse actions) in one of the 50 US States and/or territories. Additional licenses held by a provider must be in good standing whether they are inactive, expired, or limit the provider's practice to a military setting. The healthcare provider's license(s) must remain current, valid, and unrestricted throughout the duration of the contract worker performance on the contract. The DHA PM 6025.13, vol 4, is the governing directive for all 15 of 23 MQS2-NG Task Order Template Type I Configuration as of 12 Feb 25 licensure, registration, and certification. Adherence to the outlined requirements within the DHAPM 6025.13, vol. 4, shall be met.
  • Certification(s): Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross. Certification cards must display the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross. Web-based (on-line) classes are not acceptable by the Government.



Physical Demands

  • Contract workers must be capable of lifting overhead 20 pounds, bending repetitively, Twist/turn at waist without restriction, no difficulty grasping/pulling.


Additional Information

  • Occupational Health: The contract worker shall be required to obtain documentation of required physical testing or a report of a physical examination.
  • Tuberculosis Screening: The Contractor ensure contract workers shall be screened for tuberculosis (TB). In addition, contract worker will be screened prior to reporting for services at the place of performance for the following: N/A
  • Health Requirements. The Contractor shall provide documentation certifying health requirements such as immunizations, annual vaccinations, and physical examination when required at the time of initial placement.
