Responsibilities

The Clinical Supervisor, Admissions is responsible for overseeing the admission process and collaborating closely with the national patient access and admissions team. This role also includes providing supervision, support, and development for clinical team members within Newport Healthcare's adolescent and young adult programs.

Additional Duties this role may include:

  • Oversee both bachelor's and master's level clinical staff, ensuring their ongoing training and professional growth.
  • Managing practicum and internship opportunities for students, which includes tasks such as interviewing, hiring, and training clinical staff.
  • Conducting weekly individual and group supervision sessions, assessing clinical skills, and offering feedback on clinical assessments, therapy sessions, and group activities.
  • Ensuring clinical compliance and auditing
  • Provide coverage for clinical absences or vacancies by carrying a small caseload of clients and/or families as required, based on census, and/or as needed.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field required.
  • MN Licensure in Marriage Family Therapy (LMFT), Counseling (LPCC), Psychology (LP), or Social Work (LICSW) is required.
  • Board approved to provide individual and group supervision.
  • Experience in management and/or supervision of clinical team members.
  • Experience in providing individual and/or family therapy for adolescents, young adults, and parents.
  • Willingness to be trained, supervised, and provide services within the framework of Attachment-Based Family Therapy.
  • Training or experience in trauma-informed treatment.

Compensation for this role ranges from $83,000- $107,000 annually, depending on education and experience.
