Summary of Primary Functions: The Precast Maintenance Supervisor will direct and coordinate activities to support department(s) in processing materials or manufacturing products in industrial organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes production orders, bills of materials (BOMs), and scheduling data to ensure accuracy of product specifications, quantities, and delivery dates, enabling effective planning of departmental operations.

  • Plans support operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products

  • Prepares operational schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meets specifications

  • Reviews production and operating reports.

  • Resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.

  • Ensure specific operational performances and optimum utilization.

  • Develops or revises standard operational and working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards.

  • Resolves worker grievances or submits unsettled grievances to Production Superintendent for actions

  • Knowledge of carpentry, warehouse operations, metal fabrications, welding fabrication, mechanical repair, and equipment operations, and be able to step in as needed

Job Specifications or Qualifications:

Education: High School plus Vocation or Technical Education is preferred.

Experience:

  • 5 to 7 years of related experience is required.

  • Hours may vary: Typically needed from 10am-7pm

Supervisory Experience: 3 - 5 (+) years of similar supervisory experience is preferred.

Travel Required: Employee will travel 2 - 3 times per year.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will encounter adverse conditions daily. The employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions; frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts; occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
