Utz Quality Foods is hiring a Regional Sales Manager for the Cleveland, OH area. This position is responsible for driving sales growth by partnering with Master Distributors (MDRs) and Independent Operators (IOs), as well as managing relationships with small regional chains and independent headquarters. The role requires frequent travel to cover MDR territories and customers to ensure inventory levels, timely product delivery, and clear communication. The Regional Sales Manager oversees the execution of product launches and promotions in the market, provides regular Route to Market (RTM) updates and strategic insights to the Vice President of Sales Operations, and makes sales calls to regional independent accounts to grow our customer base.

Key Responsibilities



  • Support MDRs and IOs by conducting regular market visits and sales calls, fostering relationships, and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Travel extensively (60% of the time) within the assigned sales area to MDR territories, ensuring consistent presence and engagement with partners.
  • Monitor MDR and IO product supply levels, coordinate timely ordering and delivery, and ensure readiness for promotional activities and new product launches.
  • Facilitate clear and consistent communication between MDRs, IOs, and internal teams to support effective execution of sales strategies and promotions.
  • Provide the Sales Operations Director with RTM updates, market insights, and actionable strategies to expand the regional customer base and business opportunities.
  • Conduct sales account calls on regional independent accounts to drive business growth and strengthen market coverage.
  • Ensure all product ordering, delivery, and promotional execution is completed efficiently and in alignment with company standards.
  • Other duties as assigned to support sales growth and operational excellence in the region.


Job Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with 5 years of sales experience supporting sales teams or distributors in a multi-location environment.
  • Demonstrated sales experience, preferably in consumer packaged goods or distribution channels.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, both internally and externally.
  • Readiness and ability to travel extensively (60% travel required) across the designated sales area.
  • Proficiency in supply chain coordination, product ordering, and promotional execution.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
