Security Clearance Requirements:


  • US citizenship required
  • Active security clearance required (Security clearance eligibility may be considered on a case-by-case basis.)



Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Research, design, and implement cybersecurity solutions for organization systems and products that comply with all applicable security policies and standards.
  • Work with IT/OT and internal and external business partners to ensure that security is factored in the evaluation, selection, installation and configuration process of hardware and software.
  • Analyze and make recommendations to improve network, system and application architectures.
  • Examine network, server, and application logs to determine trends and identify security incidents.
  • Evaluate an organization's computer networks, applications and data systems for vulnerabilities.
  • Monitor networks for security breaches, violations, or other related issues and develops solutions to defend against such issues.
  • Assists in the review and update of cyber security policies, architectures and standards.
  • Assists in responding to audits, penetration tests and vulnerability assessments.
  • Research the latest trends in IT and security.
  • Provide strategic risk guidance for IT projects including the evaluation and recommendation of technical controls.
  • Develop, maintain and publish up-to-date information security policies, standards and guidelines.
  • Oversee the approval, training, and dissemination of security policies and practices.
  • Manage security incidents and events to protect assets including intellectual property, regulated data and the company's reputation.
  • Monitor the external threat environment for emerging threats and advise relevant stakeholders on the appropriate courses of action.
  • Understands organizational mission, values, and goals and consistently applies this knowledge.


Required Education, Skills, and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related field or have an extra 4 years experience in lieu of degree
  • Jr. Level: 2 - 4 years experience with a minimum IAT lvl 2 compliant certification (Security+, etc.)
  • Mid. Level: 4 - 7 years experience with a minimum IAT lvl 3 or IAM lvl 2 compliant certification (CISSP, CISA, GCIH, etc.)
  • Sr. Level: 7+ years experience with a minimum IAM lvl 2 compliant certification (CISM, CISSP, etc.) compliant certification
  • Experience with Cybersecurity tools such as ACAS/Nessus, RedSeal, Trellix Endpoint Security (formerly HBSS), Splunk, SCAP Compliance Checker, etc.
  • Experience with Linux, Windows, and Networking
  • Working knowledge of STIGs
  • Experience with NIST SP 800 series
  • Ability to interpret complex data and generate meaningful insights
