Summary:

Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking a compassionate and skilled RN to join the Pediatric Cardiology team. The Clinic Manager is responsible for the day-to-day administrative and operational management of the pediatric cardiology clinic. This role ensures exceptional patient and family-centered care, efficient clinic operations, regulatory compliance, and optimal staff performance. The Clinic Manager partners closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing leadership, and hospital administration to support clinical excellence and continuous improvement. Responsibilities:

Clinic Operations & Leadership

  • Oversee daily operations of the pediatric cardiology clinic, including scheduling, patient flow, capacity management, and resource allocation.

  • Lead, coach, and develop clinic staff, including front desk, medical assistants, nurses, and administrative personnel.

  • Foster a patient- and family-centered culture that aligns with pediatric care standards and organizational values.

  • Coordinate coverage plans to ensure adequate staffing during peak times, absences, and planned leave.

Patient Experience & Quality of Care

  • Ensure a welcoming, compassionate, and supportive environment for pediatric patients and their families.

  • Address patient and family concerns, service recovery, and escalated complaints in a timely and professional manner.

  • Partner with clinical leaders to improve access to care, reduce wait times, and optimize clinic throughput.

  • Support quality improvement initiatives and adherence to pediatric cardiology best practices.

Financial & Administrative Management

  • Manage clinic budgets, monitor expenses, and support revenue optimization through efficient workflows and accurate documentation.

  • Oversee charge capture processes, coding workflows, prior authorizations, and referral management.

  • Analyze clinic performance metrics such as visit volumes, no-show rates, productivity, and patient satisfaction.

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Joint Commission standards, and state and federal healthcare regulations.

  • Maintain safe clinic operations, including equipment readiness and infection prevention protocols.

  • Support audits, inspections, and implementation of corrective action plans as needed.

Collaboration & Strategy

  • Serve as a liaison between physicians, clinical staff, hospital departments, and external partners.

  • Participate in strategic planning, growth initiatives, and implementation of new services or technologies.

  • Support onboarding and training for new providers and staff.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors degree in nursing, business administration, or related field required.

Experience: Six (6) years experience in lieu of degree requirement.

Four (4) years of relevant experience required.
Experienced Pediatric RN preferred
