A typical day in this Account Manager role centers on driving territory growth across Washington and Alaska. This individual will balance strategic planning with hands-on execution, developing and implementing a comprehensive territory business plan while actively identifying new client opportunities and nurturing existing accounts. Daily activities include engaging with customers through meetings and inquiries, collaborating cross-functionally with internal Bio-Rad teams, and maintaining accurate records of activities, pipeline updates, and competitive insights within Salesforce. The role requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer satisfaction, along with the agility to adapt to evolving priorities. Ongoing professional development is essential, with regular participation in sales training programs, seminars, and industry tradeshows throughout the year.

How You'll Make An Impact:



  • Conduct precall planning, organize daily schedules, and effectively prioritize tasks.
  • Respond promptly to customer needs, including product inquiries, quote requests, and order support.
  • Partner with internal teams-sales, customer service, and technical service-to resolve issues and support business objectives.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in Salesforce, including funnel management, account activity and competitive instruments.
  • Travel to customer laboratories to execute the territory sales plan, deliver product support, and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Adapt daily priorities based on customer needs and business demands; demonstrate flexibility and strong decision-making in shifting situations.


What You Bring:



  • Education: BA/BS degree in a medical technology, life science or technical related discipline or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
  • Work Experience: 7+ years of relevant experience preferred in the clinical diagnostics sales and/or certified laboratory experience.
  • Experience using Microsoft applications is required, CRM experience such as Salesforce and Data analytics tools such as Power BI.
  • 20% overnight travel is required.
  • Must have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record.


Location: This position covers the Seattle, WA region. The individual must live within a geography that allows them to visit customers on-site on a daily basis.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $96,600 to $132,900 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is also eligible for quarterly commission based on assigned sales quotas.
