- Provide comprehensive product support to the Program Manager (PM) and Product Support Manager (PSM) to enable execution of Total Life Cycle Systems Management responsibilities.
- Assist in planning, organizing, and managing logistics aspects of capability development, production, and deployment in alignment with DoD, USAF, and local logistics policies and financial data requirements.
- Review and recommend revisions to Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSPs), CDRLs, Program Management Plan inputs, SOWs, and responses to ICD/CDD/CPD documentation.
- Support program reviews, conferences, and related meetings by providing program status updates, decision information, and logistics insights.
- Help develop integrated support requirements tied to system design, readiness objectives, and sustainment needs, including specialized analyses on life cycle cost, supportability, and warranty considerations.
- Contribute to total life cycle supportability tasks from concept through disposal, including problem analysis, solution development, recommended courses of action, and written reporting.
- Conduct logistics studies, manpower and resource analyses, readiness assessments, cost analyses, trade studies, and comparative logistics evaluations.
- Support Life Cycle Logistics Management (LCLM) analyses, including report writing, action recommendations, and tasks enabling logisticians to execute LCLM responsibilities.
- Assist in developing product support strategies that integrate acquisition and sustainment phases, incorporating ILS/Product Support elements and DoD concepts such as evolutionary acquisition, spiral development, PBL, and publicprivate partnering.
- Recommend program strategies that account for logistics impacts and incorporate PBL and partnering principles where appropriate.
- Monitor performance goals, parameters, and exit criteria associated with product support and sustainment activities.
- Support evaluation and assessment of depot and contractor performance, including partnering agreements and logistics support element reviews.
- Identify and track Mission Partner support requirements and field assessment needs.
- Perform supportability analysis tasks, including evaluating support alternatives, conducting tradeoffs among support, design, and operational concepts, and developing TLCL documentation.
- Identify supportability requirements for support equipment and training devices and evaluate SA studies/plans for improvements or followon actions.
- Assess logistics database structure and data quality while consolidating engineering and logistics data to define detailed support requirements and monitor SA progress.
- Evaluate Logistics Management Information (LMI) deliverables and summaries to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Support LifeCycle Cost Management (LCCM) and DesigntoCost (DTC) efforts by evaluating plans, trade studies, proposals, and impacts of modifications on lifecycle cost.
- Conduct costrelated studies such as costbenefit analyses, business case analyses, logistics supportability studies, levelofrepair analyses, and contractor vs. organic cost assessments.
- Apply Instructional Systems Development methods to create training programs and deliver courses on ILS/Product Support, sustainment, and warrantyrelated topics.
Qualifications: Education/Certifications/Experience/Skills:
- BA/BS or Master of Arts/ Master of Science (MA/MS) degree and over 3 - 10 years of relevant experience.
- Must possess and maintain a government security clearance at the Secret level.
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft programs (including Excel, Word, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, and Project).
- Must be able to perform all functional duties independently.
- Must be able to transport self to various facility sites, as required. If using own motor vehicle, must possess a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
