Position Summary

As an Acquisition Program Engineer at sunny Eglin AFB, you're the testflight wingmate who keeps cuttingedge Air Force systems missionready. From shaping test plans to wrangling data and helping T&E teams put new tech through its paces, you make sure every system performs, stays safe, and is ready to win. Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

Test & Evaluation Planning & Integration
    Support the development, review, and updating of program Test and Evaluation Strategies (TES), Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMP), and other related T&E documentation.
  • Coordinate T&E activities across stakeholders, including engineering teams, contractors, integrated product teams (IPTs), and test organizations.
Test Execution Support
  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and monitoring bench tests, ground tests, flight tests, and interoperability tests.
  • Provide onsite or remote technical support during test events, including data capture, analysis, and results reporting.
  • Ensure test activities adhere to Air Force and DoD test policies, safety standards, and configuration controls.
Technical Analysis & Reporting
  • Conduct technical reviews and assessments of system performance during and after test events.
  • Develop and deliver technical briefings, including classified materials when required.
  • Analyze test data to identify risks, performance gaps, and recommended corrective actions.
Program Support & Coordination
  • Provide engineering inputs to acquisition documentation, milestone reviews, program health assessments, and stakeholder reports.
  • Coordinate with logistics, configuration management, cybersecurity, and program management teams to ensure test results appropriately inform program decisions.
Compliance & Documentation
  • Ensure all test plans, procedures, and reports meet statutory, regulatory, and program-specific documentation requirements.
  • Maintain traceability and documentation mapping between work performed and the applicable PWS task elements, as shown in internal PWS mapping artifacts.


Qualifications

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

Minimum Required Qualifications

Clearance: Secret

Education:Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or related technical discipline (ABET)

Years of Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

Clearance: Top Secret/SCI Eligible

Education: Masters Degree in relevant technical discipline

Years of experience: 15+ years of relevant experience
