Location: Buffalo, NY
Employment Type: Contract (9 months)
Industry: Banking
Compensation: $95.00 /hr.
Schedule: 40 hrs/Week. - (1 st shift)

  • Provide overall technical direction and design for new and existing applications.
  • Act as principal application designer for critical components and major system modifications.

What You'll Do:
  • Design and specify information system solutions for business requirements.
  • Analyze client requirements and evaluate processes using technical expertise.
  • Develop, test, debug, and maintain applications and system components.
  • Prepare and execute detailed test plans and test data.
  • Create and maintain technical and functional documentation.
  • Analyze complex system interdependencies across applications and platforms.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 6 years of experience in systems analysis/application development.
  • 8 years of experience in presenting to the target audience.
  • 8 years of experience in coordinating between Applications and business units.
  • 8 years of experience in recommending and implementing system solutions.
  • 8 years of experience in driving project milestones and delivery dates.
What Sets You Apart:
  • Associate Degree.
  • Familiar with application development software and hardware platforms.
  • Proficiency with personal computers as well as pertinent project management, word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Capable of working on multiple projects of a complex nature.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to assist in issue resolution.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Good lateral thinking skills.
  • Proven mentoring and leadership capabilities from a project management perspective.
  • Good understanding of the Bank's application framework.
  • Subject matter expert in business with knowledge or experience utilising the application/system being supported.
  • Mastered understanding of applications supported with an advanced knowledge of interfacing/integrated applications.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as autonomously.
  • Ability to multitask for various components of complex projects.
  • Mastered knowledge and focus of the entire system to work on projects outside of normal business-as-usual (BAU).
  • Java/Springboot.
  • RestAPI.
  • DevOps.
