Software Development Engineer 5

This is an Remote role.

Pay Range: $73/hr - $78/hr

In this role, you will be instrumental in driving awareness for new features and products, taking ownership of projects from concept to production, and delivering robust, production-ready solutions that directly influence customer experience. Your contributions will be pivotal in shaping the evolution of key digital offerings.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services.
• Develop and enhance front-end features.
• Write efficient, maintainable SQL for databases.
• Take ownership of projects from concept to production.
• Debug, optimize, and ship code quickly with attention to quality.
• Collaborate directly with product and design teams to define technical solutions.
• Ensure code quality through thoughtful reviews and testing.

Required Skills & Experience

• Exceptional written and verbal English with complete fluency.
• 10+ years of overall experience in software development.
• 5+ years of experience as a lead software developer and co-founder of a software development studio/agency/company.
• 5+ years of TypeScript experience.
• 5+ years of backend web development experience (e.g., Node.js, Go, Ruby on Rails).
• 5+ years of React experience.
• Computer Science degree (major or minor).
