Responsibilities As a Senior Product Managerin theForward DeployedEngineering (FDE)org,you'llbe the strategic force working in close partnership with customers toidentify, shape, and scale their most impactful AI opportunities. Whether through direct collaboration on-site, virtually, or in hybrid models,you'llimmerse yourself in their mission to uncover not just immediate pain points, but transformational possibilities-helping customers think beyond point solutions while scoping pragmatic, high-ROI starting points. You'llmove quickly from insight to vision to execution, defining use cases, success metrics, and evaluation frameworks (Evals) that ensure every engagement is guided by measurable impact.You'llcollaborate closely with engineering and design to translate these insights into production-grade solutions that bring AI to life in mission-critical workflows. Your work will span defining product strategy, prioritizing features, anddeterminingwhich solutions should be evolved into reusable platform capabilities that scale across customers and industries.You'llnavigate seamlessly across stakeholdergroups-from C-suite executives defining strategy to frontline workers using the product daily, from highly technical engineers to deeply business-focused leaders-ensuring alignment and clarity at every level. Importantly, your roledoesn'tend at launch-you'llremain accountable forvalidatingimpact, driving adoption, and evolving solutions based on customer feedback and usage data. As a bridge between the customer environment and Microsoft's engineering and research teams,you'llchannel insights from the field to inform platform roadmaps and accelerate innovation across our AI ecosystem. Finally, as part of the growing FDE community,you'llcontribute to shared learnings, mentor peers, and help define what world-class AI product management looks like at Microsoft. Preferred Qualifications
Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
